At the community meeting, Councilmember Berliner, whose district includes Bethesda, Cabin John, Chevy Chase, Friendship Heights, Garrett Park, Glen Echo, North Bethesda, Potomac, Randolph Hills and Somerset, will host informal discussions of issues of interest to local residents.
The Friendship Heights Village Center is located at 4433 South Park Avenue in Chevy Chase.
“I enjoy these informal meetings with residents of District 1. There may not be a better setting for me to learn about concerns—and to be able to bring them up-to-date on issues before the County Council,” said Councilmember Berliner, who is a member of the Council’s Public Safety Committee and the Transportation, Infrastructure, Energy and Environment Committee, where he is the lead member for energy and the environment. “At the Friendship Heights meeting, we will discuss local issues important to residents such as planning and zoning projects, traffic and transportation concerns and public safety. I hope neighbors will come ready to talk. I will be ready to listen and respond.”
