MS AWARENESS... The battle to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (or MS), the chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system, came to Montgomery County on March 27. The Council and County Executive Isiah Leggett jointly recognized MS Awareness Week and speakers talked of new treatments and advances in research that are giving hope to people affected by the disease. At the ceremonies in Rockville were, left to right: Seth Morgan and Matthew Shore of the National MS Society, County Council President Roger Berliner; and former Maryland State Senator Frank Shore.
