A CENTURY OF EXPERIMENTS... The Bethesda-based Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology was recognized on March 20 by the Montgomery County Council on the organization's 100th anniversary. FASEB has grown to be the nation's largest coalition of biomedical researchers, representing 360 people who work for the 26 members of its scientific societies and related groups. At the ceremonies in Rockville were, left to right: Guy Fogleman, executive director of FASEB; County Councilmember George Leventhal, who chairs the Council's Health and Human Services Committee; and Howard Garrison, director of FASEB's Office of Public Affairs.
