PLANNING FOR RAPID TRANSIT … Montgomery County Councilmember Marc Elrich, who for more than four years has worked on a plan that would bring a rapid transit system to Montgomery County, on May 22 addressed the Montgomery Transit Task Force after it released its report recommending creation of a 160-mile rapid transit network that connects to key economic and residential areas of the County on dedicated guideways.
