Montgomery County winners in the 2012 Maryland History Day Competition for middle and high school students were honored on July 17 by the Montgomery County Council. This year, more than 18,000 students participated in the state-wide competition, which was themed Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History. Councilmember Phil Andrews (left) presented proclamations to the winners for their achievements.
