AFRICAN-AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH … The Montgomery County Council on Sept. 18 was joined by residents who traced their heritage to many African nations as the County saluted African-American Heritage Month. Councilmember Valerie Ervin presented a proclamation on behalf of the Council that recognized the diverse backgrounds of County residents.
