HEALTHY VENDING MACHINES … County Councilmember George Leventhal (center), chair of the Council’s Health and Human Services Committee, joined County Executive Isiah Leggett, County Health Officer Ulder J. Tillman and members of the Obesity Prevention Strategy Group on Oct. 17 to unveil a new “2BU” vending machine in the Executive Office Building in Rockville. The hi-tech machine is aimed at providing healthier food choices to employees and visitors. The County’s initial plans are to install healthy choice vending machines in at least one dozen County facilities.
