Holy Cross Hospital, which admits more than 32,000 patients annually and is the only hospital in Maryland to receive the Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval from the Alliance for Workplace Excellence every year since 1999, was honored by the Montgomery County Council on Feb. 5 as the Silver Spring facility celebrates its 50th anniversary. Holy Cross Health will soon open another hospital in Germantown.
