ROCKVILLE, Md., January 11, 2013—Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro on Monday, Jan. 14, will meet with members of the media to discuss key items that will be facing the County Council and its respective committees in the near future. On Monday, Council President Navarro will address actions the Council is taking to make sure County schools and neighborhoods are safe in the wake of the tragedy at Newtown, Ct., and the Council’s priorities for this year’s Maryland General Assembly session.
Council President Navarro’s meeting with media members will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the SIXTH Floor Conference Room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.
