Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, will meet with members of the media to discuss key items that will be facing the County Council and its respective committees in the near future.

Among the topics Council President Navarro will address is the proposal of Maryland State Senate President Mike Miller regarding transportation funding. She also will discuss the Council’s recent actions to move forward on studying the viability of a Bus Rapid Transit system for the County.

Council President Navarro’s meeting with media members will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the SIXTH Floor Conference Room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.
