| The Montgomery County Council’s Government Operations and Fiscal Policy Committee is set to receive a briefing from representatives of the state and county Boards of Elections this Monday, March 11, 2013. The hearing is open to the public and will take place at 2pm in the seventh floor hearing room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville.
The Committee will discuss issues that occurred during the 2012 General Election including absentee ballots that were sent with missing pages, incorrectly translated voter guides, and long lines at polling places. Expected attendees include Linda Lamone, Administrator and Ross Goldstein, Deputy Administrator of the State Board of Elections and Mary Ann Keeffe, President and Margaret Jurgensen, Election Director of the Montgomery County Board of Elections.
