Montgomery County District 1 Councilmember Roger Berliner is inviting residents to join him at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Town of Chevy Chase Town Hall as a continuing part of his series of “Conversations With Councilmember Berliner.”

At the community meeting, Councilmember Berliner, whose district includes Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Kensington, Poolesville and Potomac, will host informal discussions of issues of interest to local residents.

The Town of Chevy Chase Town Hall is located at 4301 Willow Lane in Chevy Chase.

“I enjoy these informal meetings with residents of District 1. There may not be a better setting for me to learn about concerns—and to be able to bring them up-to-date on issues before the County Council,” said Councilmember Berliner, who chairs the Council’s Transportation, Infrastructure, Energy and Environment Committee and serves on the Public Safety Committee. “At the Town of Chevy Chase meeting, we will discuss local issues important to residents, including planning and zoning projects, environmental conservation, transportation, public safety and education-related concerns. I hope my constituents will come ready to talk. I will be ready to listen and respond.”

For more information on the meeting, call 240-777-7828.
