Montgomery Council to Hold Public Hearing on Bill That Would Exempt Certain Stream Restoration Projects from Requirements of Forest Conservation Law Hearing Is Scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, on Bill 25-14

The Montgomery County Council will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, on Expedited Bill 25-14 that would exempt certain stream restoration projects from certain requirements of the forest conservation law. The bill also would exempt certain maintenance or retrofitting of stormwater management structures from certain requirements of the law.

The public hearing will be held in the Third Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building, which is located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville. The meeting will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM—Cable Channel 6 on Comcast and RCN, Channel 30 on Verizon) and can be viewed via streaming through the County web site at:
