There are quiet study rooms at all MCPL branches except Chevy Chase, Gaithersburg Interim, Noyes, Olney (closed for renovation), Poolesville, Twinbrook, and White Oak. Laptops are permitted, but cellphones and conversations are not.  Only Rockville Memorial Library has a second quiet study room that does not allow even laptops.

There are group study or tutor rooms at the branches listed below. They are available on a walk-in, first-come-first-served basis only. No advance reservations are accepted. Read the policies for use of these rooms.
