County Executive Ike Leggett dropped by the 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center to congratulate members of the Emergency Communications staff during National Public Safety Telecommunications Week.  The 9-1-1 call takers and dispatchers are the first of the first responders who help those in need when they call 9-1-1 for police, fire, or EMS service. These behind-the-scenes public safety heroes are on the job 24-7 providing exemplary critical service to those who live in or travel through the County.
