County Executive Isiah Leggett expressed the County’s appreciation and sympathy to the families of the 17 Montgomery County Police Officers who have died in the line of duty during the Department’s 91-year history. The Montgomery County Fallen Heroes Memorial Service is held each May during National Police Week which honors all the members of law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The County Executive was joined on the dais by Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, County Council Chair of the Public Safety Committee Phil Andrews, Police Chaplains Father Raymond Fecteau and Pastor Sean Libby, and Assistant Police Chief Luther Reynolds. Also in attendance but not seen in the photograph were Assistant Police Chiefs Betsy Davis, Russell Hamill and Darryl McSwain.
