Leggett Joins Van Hollen, Floreen and Riemer to Help Celebrate 2nd Anniversary of Rockville Women’s Business Center and the Entrepreneurial Spirit of Women

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will join U.S. Congressman Chris Van Hollen, Montgomery County Council Members Nancy Floreen and Hans Riemer, Rockville City Council Members Bridget Newton and Mark Pierzchala and Small Business Administration District Director Bridget Bean to celebrate the two-year anniversary of the Rockville Women’s Business Center.
Funded by Citi Foundation, Montgomery County Department of Economic Development and the City of Rockville, the RWBC was launched in November 2010 and has provided assistance to more than 1,200 entrepreneurs. The Center provides individual business counseling, resources, and training and runs a Childcare Business Development Initiative to help entrepreneurs in the childcare arena. In addition, the RWBC supports the StartRight! Women’s Business Plan Competition. The anniversary program will highlight client successes and organizational achievements.
