Montgomery County Recreation’s Haunted Forest Opens October 11 at Damascus Community Recreation Center

The Haunted “Murkwood” Forest at Montgomery County Recreation’s Damascus Community Recreation Center which will open Friday, October 11 will be offered for three weekends in October at 25520 Oak Drive.

The complete Haunted Forest schedule is:

• Fridays, October 11, 18 and 25, 7:30 – 10 p.m.
• Saturdays, October 12, 19 and 26, 7 – 9 p.m.
• Thursday, October 24, 7 – 9 p.m.

The event is recommended for those who enjoy a real Halloween scare but is not recommended for children under eight years. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult family member. Individuals who experience adverse effects from strobe lights, smoke machines, sudden noises, extreme darkness or the sight of blood are advised not to attend. This is an outdoor event, and closed-toed footwear is recommended.
