|Fall Book Sale and Family Fun Events to Be Held Saturday, October 19 at Silver Spring Library|
A used book sale, bake sale, and free family programs will be held on Saturday, October 19 at the Silver Spring Library, 8901 Colesville Road.
The used book sale will be held from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and will include thousands of used books in categories such as fiction, history, art, mysteries, romance, literature, cookbooks, biography, children’s, and more.
Hardbacks will sell for $2, large paperbacks for $1.50 and small paperbacks for 50 cents. Specially priced larger books will also be on sale. In addition, DVDs, CDs, and audio books will be available.
In addition, there will be a performance by Noland’s Magic Show featuring Chester the Rabbit at 10:30 a.m., and Science Tellers will present “Dragons & Dreams,” a science adventure of castles, kings, fire and ice at 12:30 p.m.
The programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Silver Spring Chapter, and the Silver Spring Library Advisory Committee.
