Montgomery County Recreation Programs and Activities and Community Use Activities at MCPS Facilities Cancelled July 2 and 3
|
Due to the continued widespread power outages, the Montgomery County Department of Recreation has canceled all scheduled programs and activities, which includes summer camp programs, for Monday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 3. Montgomery County Recreation facilities with power will be open for drop-in use during scheduled operating hours. However, residents should call the facility beforehand to verify that it is open.
The Community Use of Public Facilities also annouces that all community use activities in Montgomery County Public Schools are cancelled on Monday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 3. Approximately 137 schools are still without power. A decision will be made on Tuesday regarding July 4 activities.
