The MC311 Customer Service Center will host a 20-member Chinese delegation from the Academy of Social Sciences of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on Tuesday, July 31. This is the fourth visit by a Chinese delegation to the County’s MC311 customer service center.
MC311 staff will give a brief overview of their operation and demonstrate the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system. CountyStat staff will discuss how data collected from MC311 is used. The group will conclude with a tour of the Customer Service Center.
Montgomery County’s 311 online and telephone information system has garnered international attention for its award-winning process of customer analytics, a process whereby data collected from the customer is then used to help make key business decisions. The data is used to understand demand for services and then to provide improved services to constituents. Since the 311 system was launched in June 2010, customer analytics have been useful in showing what services residents find most valuable. Having this information is crucial to helping Montgomery County best serve its residents.
