Due to the closing of the Longwood Community Center for building maintenance and cleaning from August 12 through 26, Montgomery County Public Libraries’ (MCPL) services at Express@Olney will be unavailable during this time.

Customers are reminded that no holds can be placed for pick up at the holds lockers until August 27. However, previously requested holds may be picked up at the lockers until Tuesday, August 7. Holds placed in the lockers on August 7 can be picked up at the center until Thursday, August 9 at 9 p.m.

Customers whose holds are not in the lockers by August 7 will be contacted by MCPL staff and given the option of picking up their holds at another branch. Holds not transferred to another branch will be placed into available lockers once the center reopens on Monday, August 27. MCPL also reminds customers that, depending on the number of holds requiring lockers, their materials may not be available for pick-up until August 30 or later.
