Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Financial Crimes Section are continuing to investigate numerous incidents of bank fraud by a suspect that occurred between June 2, 2008 and June 9, 2008. Detectives are now releasing a surveillance photograph of that suspect.

Through the course of the investigation it was learned that the suspect entered local SunTrust Bank branches throughout Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. He would present a check from the Hyatt Corporation along with identification which was later determined to be fraudulent. He would cash the checks. He has stolen close to $9,000.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7” tall, weighing 180 pounds, late 40’s/early 50’s, bald, with a white goatee and glasses.
