Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 23-year-old woman.

            Valerie Jaunice Bennett, of the 11400 block of Appledowre Way in Germantown, was last seen on a bus headed toward Lakeforest Mall yesterday at approximately 5 p.m.

            Valerie Bennett is described as a black female, approximately 5’7” tall and weighing 150 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.   She was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue or brown jeans and black and purple Nike sneakers.

            Police and family are concerned for Brown’s physical and emotional well-being.

            Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Valerie Bennett is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Non-Emergency number at 301-279-8000.
