Metro will perform major track work over the weekend of February 15-18. The work will begin at 10 p.m. Friday and continue through system closing on Monday (since Monday is a holiday).

Red Line Track Work

* Trains will single track between Rhode Island Ave and Takoma. On Monday, between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m., additional trains will operate between Shady Grove and NoMa-Gallaudet U, resulting in service about every 10 minutes between those stations.

* Customers traveling through the work zone should allow 15 minutes of additional travel time.
