HONORING PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES . . . On May 7 the Montgomery County Council joined in the annual national salute to government employees as it recognized workers representing numerous aspects of County government. In this 28th celebration of Public Service Recognition Week, Montgomery County saluted employees who provide essential services, make remarkable contributions and find innovative solutions to complex issues. Councilmembers Valerie Ervin and Phil Andrews presented proclamations on behalf of the Council to recognize the special week.
