Tuesday, November 16 – Veteran’s Day Program -- “A Conversation with Everett Alvarez Jr.” @ Rockville Memorial Library, 21 Maryland Ave. 7 p.m. A Rockville resident, Alvarez was the first American aviator shot down over North Vietnam and was held as a prisoner of war for eight and a half years.
