Carbon Monoxide -- The Invisible Killer; Protect Yourself and Your Family

Carbon monoxide, the most common cause of death by poison in the United States, kills more than 500 people every year. It is one of the most dangerous poisons, because you often aren’t aware of its presence until it’s too late.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) reminds every resident that the best way to protect themselves and their families from carbon monoxide poisoning is to buy a carbon monoxide (sometimes referred to as CO) detector for the home.
