Tuesday, May 4, 7:30 p.m. -- Frank Lloyd Wright’s granddaughter discusses her book about “…Love and Marriage During the Depression” at the Silver Spring Library, 8901 Colesville Rd. Elizabeth Wright, who grew up in the Silver Spring and Bethesda area discovered her parents’ letters while clearing out their Bethesda home, which was designed by her grandfather. She found the letters, written when they were trying to create a financially stable marriage in the midst of terrible economic conditions, to be witty, sassy and poignant. The book also contains the family background which sets the scene for the romance. Sponsored by Friends of the Library, Silver Spring Chapter as part of its 12-year-old Speaker Series.
