Once Jack Frost starts to nip, it feels like it is time to head to the tropics, but this winter there is way too many fun things happening to go south for the winter! This winter the challenge is to keep you moving and active through recreation. Move Montgomery is a fun new iniative to make sure that we keep busy, keep having fun and keep healthy! Staying active has never been easier and more fun as there is hundreds of active classes such as water aerobics, hip hop or salsa dance, kickboxing, karate, or volleyball to participate in. There are plenty of programs for all ages! Don't forget the affordable Senior Sneakers program, Zumba Gold or Better Bodies for Baby Boomers for the active senior!
Registration is offered in one of four ways: by mail or fax, online or in person at the Recreation Department Administrative Offices located at 4010 Randolph Road, Silver Spring.
Registration for swim lessons opens on December 8, 2010.
