Youth Basketball!

Registration Deadline is November 9 for Instructional K-2 and Youth Leagues
The instructional basketball league is for boys and girls in grade K-2. To register a pre-formed team, you must call 240-777-6870 for a coach’s packet, or go to www.montgomerycountymd.gov/rec to download the appropriate forms. Team registration requires full payment for a minimum of 8 players (12 max) from the same school or district, player forms, and a volunteer coach. NOTE: MCRD reserves the right to add players to rosters. Fee is $75 per person and practices begin the weekend of January 5-6 2013.

For Youth League
The youth league is for boys and girls in grades 3-8. To register a team call 240-777-6810 or download the appropriate forms at www.montgomerycountymd.gov/rec Players who register as individuals will be assigned to a team closest to their school or neighborhood as space allows. Players may not register in a league below their grade level, but they can play up a grade. Teams may not have more than 3 players on their roster who participate in a select team. Fee for teams in grades 3-5 is $80 per person. Fee for teams in grades 6-8 is $95 per person. Coaches will contact players on or before December 3rd to announce practice schedules and locations.
