Thomas Manger and Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Chief of Aging and Disability Services John J. Kenney will welcome attendees to the County&amp;rsquo;s third annual observance of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are nearly six million reported cases of elder physical and/or financial abuse every year in the United States, but the majority of those cases go unreported. Montgomery County has formed an Elder/Vulnerable Adult Abuse Task Force to address those concerns for the County&amp;rsquo;s more than 125,000 senior residents and their families. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Robert Blancato, national coordinator of the Elder Justice Coalition, will give the keynote address. Manna feeds 3,600 hungry families a month. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Everyone in the County can participate in the food drive. Ride On passengers get a free ride in exchange for a non-perishable food item or children&amp;rsquo;s item.
