The themes are &amp;ldquo;Dig into Reading&amp;rdquo; for birth thru Grade 6 and &amp;quot;Beneath the Surface&amp;quot; for teens. Online registration at the MCPL website, &lt;a href="http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/library"&gt;www.montgomerycountymd.gov/library&lt;/a&gt;, runs from June 1 to August 11. Recommended reading lists by grade also will be available on the MCPL website. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Participants can sign up for the program and keep track of the books they read, or have read to them, through August 31,&amp;nbsp;using the designated summer reading registration computer or a public computer in the library, or sign up on computers at home or elsewhere. The library is located at 8800 Garland Ave. in Silver Spring. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;The free event celebrates the 10 temporary, site-specific sculptures that are on display at the library and along Flower Ave. until May 20.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The sculptures, that honor the Long Branch community and culture, were composed by students from the University of Maryland Art and Architecture Studio. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;A variety of live music will be performed by The Relics (Reggae), Jumpin Jupiter (Rockabilly) and Trimbaldi&amp;rsquo;s Band (Latin). The library is located at 21 Maryland Ave. with free garage parking available during the first two hours.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;The series is designed for individuals ages 16 and older who wish to learn Cued Speech, a visual communication system that makes spoken language visible. On Facebook, post a direct message. The poems may appear on MCPL&amp;rsquo;s Twitter or Facebook pages.
