Mike Miller, Jr. and Speaker of the House Michael E. Busch at the &lt;strong&gt;bill signing for the Transportation Infrastructure Investment Act of 2013&lt;/strong&gt;. County residents donated canned and non-perishable food on the County&amp;rsquo;s Ride On buses. In exchange, donors were able to ride the bus for free. All donated food was given to Manna Food Center. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;ldquo;This year, Ride On passengers donated over 8,161 pounds of food,&amp;rdquo; said Rev. Angela M. The work will begin at 10 p.m. Friday and continue through system closing on Sunday. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Red Line Track Work &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;* Free shuttle buses will replace Red Line trains between the NoMa-Gallaudet U and Takoma stations. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;* &lt;strong&gt;Two stations will be closed: Rhode Island Ave and Brookland-CUA&lt;/strong&gt;. Fort Totten Station will be open for Green and Yellow line service only. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;* Express buses will operate non-stop between Takoma and NoMa-Gallaudet stations.
