Public Encouraged to Attend and Provide Input on the Upcoming Challenges Decision Makers Will Face

Monday, January 11 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.

Tuesday, January 12 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will sponsor five budget forums in January, two of which will be held next week, to seek input from residents about the challenges facing the County in the upcoming fiscal year 2011 operating budget. These sessions are hosted by the Regional Services Center Directors and the Regional Services Center Citizen Advisory Boards and are open to residents from any part of the county. Leggett and staff from the County’s Office of Management and Budget will make presentations and be available to answer questions.

The forums are planned for Monday, January 11 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Upcounty Regional Services Center, 12900 Middlebrook Road, Meeting Room A, Germantown and Tuesday, January 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eastern Montgomery County Regional Services Center, 3300 Briggs Chaney Road, Silver Spring.
