Student was Struck as She Walked to School

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will attend a vigil for Christina Morris-Ward, the Seneca Valley High School student who was tragically killed on Halloween on her way to school.

The event is being planned by a friend of the family, Yolanda Blaney. Others attending the event include Christina’s mother, Gwendolyn Ward; County Councilmember Craig Rice; Montgomery County 5th District Police Commander Luther Reynolds; Seneca Valley High School Principal Marc Cohen; community member Michele Campbell and Seneca Valley High School students.
