Second Annual Veteran Resource and Community Volunteer Fair to Take Place in May

Veterans, local members of the military, their families and those interested in helping local veterans are invited to attend the second annual Veteran Resource and Community Volunteer Fair on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Glen Echo Park. Participants will have an opportunity to meet with local veteran service officers and organizations providing financial and employment assistance and to learn about volunteer opportunities with military and veteran serving organizations. There will be live music during the event with free carousel rides and The Puppet Co. tickets available on a first come, first served basis. Those attending can also participate in an art-based service project honoring veterans.

The event is a partnership of the Montgomery County Veterans Collaborative; the Glen Echo Partnership for Arts and Culture, Inc.; and the Montgomery County Volunteer Center.
