The public is invited to learn about resources and services provided by non-profit agencies at the “Empowering Residents, Connecting the Community” Social Services Provider Fair on Friday, March 23, 2007 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center, located at 3300 Briggs Chaney Road in Silver Spring.

Sponsored by the County Department of Health and Human Services, the fair is aimed at encouraging and empowering residents, especially those in the East County area, to take advantage of the resources and services provided by non-profit agencies in the community. There will be more than 15 non-profit agencies participating, including the Epilepsy Foundation, Montgomery Housing Partnership and Catholic Community Services. The fair is FREE and open to all Montgomery County residents and interested individuals.
