Local veterans, family members and other interested individuals can now find information on local, state and national resources for veteran’s services at www.montgomerycountymd.gov/veterans. The newly created website provides information on topics such as benefits and claims assistance, disability supports, education and tuition assistance, and homelessness, as well as information on the County’s Commission on Veterans Affairs and a calendar of upcoming events of interest to veterans.

Visitors to the site can also learn more about the mental health information and referral line operated by the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County (MHA).

The line is staffed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
