|Ride On Service Plan Announced for Next Week|
Montgomery County’s Ride On bus system will run a normal schedule on Saturday and Sunday, July 21 and 22.
On Monday and Tuesday, July 23 and 24, Ride On will run a modified holiday schedule. There will be three exceptions to the posted schedule to add additional service. Route 2 will provide service to Walter Reed; Route 38 will provide service to the U.S. Postal Training Academy and Route 54 will provide service to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
Beginning Wednesday, July 25, Ride On will resume its normal, weekday, operating schedule. Passengers may encounter some minor delays on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, July 25 through 27. By Monday, July 30, operations are expected to be back to normal. The County’s Department of General Services has expedited preparing replacement buses for service, so that most will be available by July 30.
For more information about Ride On’s schedules, check the County’s website at www.montgomerycountymd.gov.
