Trial - Jury Verdict - for Plaintiff	3/24/2010	This was clmts appeal from a WCC Order awarding 15% PPD to clmt for injuries to his neck, back and right leg. Clmt was a bus driver for MCPS who was injured in an assault by a student. Below at the WCC, clmt was seeking Perm Total Disability. Clmt attorney attempted settlement, but his demand was premised on the fact that a jury would award serious disability. I had actually countered with an offer of an additional 10% to resolve the appeal. This offer was rejected and the case proceeded to trial. After a 2 day jury trial, the jury awarded an additional 15% PPD.
