County facilities accepting firewood:
 Shady Grove Processing Facility & Transfer Station

We accept firewood in the Yard Waste drop-off at our Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station. We do not accept it our curbside recycling or trash collections.

If you are a County resident and bring your own firewood to the Transfer Station, we accept it at no charge.

If you are a commercial collector or landscaper and bring firewood to the Transfer Station, our fee schedule for yard waste applies.
