| Jerusalem Road was closed for approximately eight weeks last fall to allow for a 2 phase stream diversion, excavation, installation of new box culverts, and construction of a new section of roadway atop the new culverts. MCDOT's Division of Highway Services replaced drainage pipes on Jerusalem Road at Dry Seneca Creek, located between Cissel Manor Drive and Elgin Road. The rusting metal pipes were exchanged for three, large rectangular concrete precast box culverts.
The project started around the week of October 17, 2012 and was completed in early January, when the road was re-opened.
