| Ride On announced service changes that went into effect on January 13th. The adjustments will provide additional service to new population centers and improve efficiencies.
In Rockville daily service was added to Park Potomac, a new residential and commercial area off Seven Locks and Montrose roads and I-270. In Germantown, the Route 98 bus was expanded to serve several areas, including the Cinnamon Woods neighborhood during peak periods, the Germantown Community Center midday, and the Maryland SoccerPlex on weekends. Service will also be provided to a new area at Watkins Mill Road and MD 355. Service within Olney will be restructured, including changes to Route 52. Also, the Route 53 has been restructured to be more efficient and to provide service to the Park and Ride Lot on Georgia Avenue and on MD 200, also known as the Inter County Connector.
