Metro will perform major track work over the weekend of August 3-5.  The work will begin at 10 p.m. Friday and continue through system closing on Sunday.

RED LINE SHUTDOWN
Free shuttle buses will replace Red Line trains between the Fort Totten and Union Station stations. Three stations will be closed – Brookland, Rhode Island Ave and NoMa-Gallaudet U.  The last train from Glenmont will depart 33 minutes earlier than normal -- at 2:04 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and at 11:04 p.m. on Sunday night -- to allow for shuttle bus connections.

Express buses will operate between Fort Totten and Union Station only.  Customers using express buses should add 20 minutes to their travel time.  Local buses will operate between Fort Totten and Union Station, making intermediate stops at Brookland, Rhode Island Ave and NoMa-Gallaudet U stations.  Customers using local buses should add 30 minutes to their travel time.
