Campaigns to Keep Residents Safe This Holiday Season by Watching Out for Each Other; “Eyes” Campaign and “Shop With a Cop”

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett (third from left) and Police Chief J. Thomas Manger (left) launched two education campaigns to improve public safety during the busy holiday shopping season.  The campaigns are “Hey You, I’m Looking at You,” targeting pedestrians and drivers, and “Shop With a Cop,” reminding shoppers to drive and walk safe -- especially in parking lots.  Also pictured are (from left to right) Montgomery Blair High School Principal Renay Johnson; Julie and Lawrence Parsley, the parents of John Parsley, whose eyes are featured in the bus ad; Montgomery County Department of Transportation Deputy Director Al Roshdieh and Fire Chief Richard Bowers.
