 Project Lifesaver

County Executive Ike Leggett joined Montgomery County Police and the Autism Speaks organization for their 2nd Annual Autism Night Out. The MCPD provided information about their program, “Project Lifesaver,” that police developed to address the problem of wandering for individuals with medical conditions like Autism, Alzheimer’s and Downs syndrome. The event included fun activities for children as well as demonstrations by police and fire & rescue. Pictured left to right are: Officer Lauie Reyes, the CE, Christen Mulchi, Charles Mulchi, Jr., Kalli Mulchi, and Assistant Police Chief Betsy Davis. Mr. Mulchi received a special award for his contributions to the Project Lifesaver program. To learn more about Project Lifesaver:
