 Leggett Announces Public Libraries Partnership with KID Museum to Create County’s First “MakerSpace” for Children, Families

Montgomery County Public Libraries and the new KID Museum have announced a three-year agreement that will create the County’s first makerspace for children and families on the lower level of the Davis Library in Bethesda. Following the official public announcement of the partnership between the County and KID Museum, young maker Vanya Gorbachev, a student at Parkland Middle School, explains the workings of a 3D printer to (from left) County Councilmember Marc Elrich, County Executive Ike Leggett and museum supporter Carol Trawick representing the Jim and Carol Trawick Foundation.
