OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT - SOLICITATION SCOPE & DOWNLOAD Solicitation: 1018753 - Residential Landscape and Solid Waste Removal Services for the Clean & Lien Program. Scope: The County's Department of Housing and Community Affairs(DHCA),Division of Housing Code Enforcement has established a Clean & Lien Program. Properties identified by this program will have grass,weeds or other vegetation in excess of 12" in height. At times it will be mixed with other woody growth and height may be several feet high. Solid waste removal services are also required that may include appliances,furniture,construction materials,branches and tree parts as well as general trash. The properties may be located anywhere in Montgomery County excluding properties within the city limits of Rockville and Gaithersburg. Assignments are made on an as needed basis,not on a rotation schedule,and as often as possible,are grouped together in the same geographic area. The services to be provided will include grass cycling by means of mulch blade mowing,hand rake and disposls,multiple cuts to achieve a height not to exceed 4". The Assigned inspector from the Montgomery County Code Enforcement team will determine the means to achieve a reasonable appearance when the task is completed. The contractor shall provide a means of disposal satisfactory to the Solid Waste Transfer Station in Rockville. The properties are to be left free of tree branches,limbs,brush,stalks or other woody growth as directed by the Code inspector and disposed of at the Transfer Station.
