Twinbrook Fatal Fire Review
CountyFire Chief forms regional panel to review procedures
Montgomery County Fire Chief Tom Carr will announce the formation of a special review panel to look into all aspects of the fatal fire that occurred on Saturday morning, May 3 at 12,819 Twinbrook Parkway, at the Halpine View Apartments, in Rockville. One resident died and three firefighters were seriously injured, two remain hospitalized. In addition to the special review panel announcement, Chief Carr will provide updates to the status of the injured firefighters, talk about the latest information concerning the fire and the investigation, as well as speak to the upcoming and ongoing ‘Safety in the Neighborhood’ community outreach and code enforcement efforts.
